There are so many special places in this world, such as The Hill of Crosses in Lithuania, famous for its hundreds of thousands of crosses. As you walk around the Hill of Crosses you will notice that each cross is different. Some are devotional, with rosaries or other religious items attached, while others are more simple, since the pandemic started, many added the homemade cross to pray for the pandemic to end and love one’s safety. Many of the crosses are memorials, with the names of the deceased and other mementos. The Hill of Crosses is a symbol of the Lithuanian people’s presence in the country, and the Lithuanian people’s role in shaping the country’s history.
