Traveling by train:

You can travel to the Hill of crosses by train. Travel from Vilnius, Klaipėda or other cities. You need to reach the train station Siauliai. It is located 12 kilometers from the Hill of crosses. From Siauliai train station travel with car or public bus. The train ride takes 2:10 – 2:30 hours. There are 2 (3 on Saturdays) morning trains from Vilnius to Šiauliai. The earliest one leaves at 6:50 AM. The ticket costs ~ 9 EUR. You can purchase your ticket at the Train station (Geležinkelio street 16) or on the train. If you buy the ticket on the train you have to pay 1,45 EUR extra. You can check the train schedules at https://www.traukiniobilietas.lt/portal/en

 

If continuing by bus you need to reach Siauliai city main bus station (coordinates 55.92789500936918, 23.30782528019456).

Traveling by Bus:

You can travel by bus to the Hill of crosses. Travel from Vilnius, Warsaw, Riga or other cities. First of all you need to reach main Siauliai City bus station (coordinates 55.92789500936918, 23.30782528019456).

Bus Schedule going form Siauliai to Hill of crossesFrom Siauliai City bus station go with local bus direction JONISKIS. Your station will be DOMANTAI. Bus goes several times during the day. To get to Domantai from Siauliai, go to platform 12 of the bus station and take the Joniškis bus. Ask the driver to let you off at the Domantai stop (most drivers are used to having foreign visitors and will likely offer to let you off before you even have to ask). The trip only takes around ten minutes and costs less than one euro.

Once at the Domantai bus stop, all you have to do is take the small road that leaves the main road and follow it for 2km. It’s not the most exciting part of the day, but it goes fast!

Traveling by car:Parking prices at the Hill of crosses

When arriving to the Hill of crosses you can leave your car in the parking area close to the Hill of crosses. Prices for parking: Car – 0,9 EUR, big bus – 8,9 EUR
